Developing new ways of providing accessible legal services is good for both law firms and consumers, and technology can contribute to that.

We have commissioned Oxford University to conduct an independent research study to support the development innovation and technology in the legal services market. You can play a part in shaping the project by sharing your experiences. You can do this by contacting the dedicated project mailbox at Oxford University: OxfordLawtech4SRA@sbs.ox.ac.uk.

The aim of the project is to increase understanding of innovation and technology in legal services across England and Wales, and identify areas where we can reduce barriers to innovation and support further growth.

The team at Oxford includes experts in this field such as Professor Mari Sako and Professor John Armour, who will work in collaboration with our Research team. We will keep you posted with further updates on this research over the coming months.
